An introductory study of art appreciation. The course covers art-related vocabulary, focused observation, historical context and the elements and principles of design as an entry into discussion surrounding the meaning and purpose of visual imagery.

An introduction to the world of theatre, and how the themes and skills in theatre apply to every walk of life and a Christian worldview. A hands-on class where students will watch, create, discuss, and immerse themselves in different theatrical productions and experiences.

A course in the fundamental principles of effective oral communication. Special attention is given to the selection and organization of materials and the presentation of speeches. Three emphases of the course are: theory, practice, and constructive criticism.
